Stine Avlund and Oleg Koefoed lead the Artcycling project in Denmark together. They have been working for a number of years within Cultura21, leading creative projects and workshops locally in Copenhagen and Internationally.

Stine Avlund: “I have a background in Architecture and have increasingly been focusing on collective making processes and participation. I work with creativity as a way of knowledge making and use this to explore sustainable ways of living together in the world, for all the many life forms. I work on many different scales but I am particularly interested in the communication between an immediate understanding through our own presence and actions, and what we may communicate to a larger audience. In the Artcycling project I wish to further the curiosity of the participating artists, find new ways for their work and further sustainable modes of their practices”.

Oleg Koefoed: “I am an action-philosopher, focusing on sustainability and how we can move beyond what we know through a philosophical and action-oriented approach. I co-founded Cultura21 in 2007, and started up Growing Pathway this year – a thinkery for sustainable strategic action. I spend most of my time working with people, to assist them in finding ways to change their lives and careers to the better, save resources and make a decent living. I work on many different levels, but have a strong interest in the micro-perspective on sustainability: how can we create very small actions that foster change with huge potential?”.
