Calling all upcycling artists!
We are looking for upcycling artists of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels from the European Union to take part in the European Artcycling contest!
The contest is organized with the idea to inform society about artcycled art as well as about the potentialities of the people at risk of social exclusion.
To take part in the Artcycling contest, all you need to do is to share with us your upcycling works. The requirements for your works are the following:
- All the works must be done using recycled materials.
- All the works must be respectful: no insults to any religion, political ideology or sexual identity.
- Environment issue will be more than welcomed!
To share your work, you must send its photo and a description of how it has been done (in 10 steps maximum) into the FLICKER FOLDER:
 Deadline expired
Be aware that you have to be a Flickr user, but don’t worry, it is free 🙂 . The maximum size of each photo must be no more than 5 Mb.
The contest will be open from 15th of January to 31st of March 2018.
You chose the winner!Â
Once the call closes, all the competing photographs will be uploaded onto the Artcycling Facebook page, so anybody can vote for the best one (only one vote per person). The photograph with the highest number of ‘likes’ will win! In case of tie, the artistic directors of the Artcycling Coop project will be in charge of choosing the winner.
As a prize, the winner’s work will be shown in the Artcycling International exhibition that will be held in Pécs, Hungary, from 12th to 27th April 2018. During this two-weeks exhibition, the works made by Artcyclers from Spain, Hungary and Denmark in the last three years, will be shown to the general public. Your work will be shown also in our website www.artcycling.org
This is a chance for you to win and to show your work and skills to a broad audience!
